As we emerge from our atmospheric rivers, it was fun to transform our Rathskeller into an Island Hideaway and celebrate a fun year led by our Exalted Ruler (now PER), Steve Giddens, and his First Lady (now PERL and still Trustee), Leah Fischer!

We had Tiki-style craft cocktails, a roasted pig as part of the feast and the evening was capped with amazing hula from local Alameda halau, Halau Makana. (I could not load the video, so if you want to see some PER swivel hip action, visit our members only FB page).

We said “goodbye” to Leah and Steve and celebrated our new Elk of the Year, Ken Carvalho, Officer of the Year, Jeff Cowell, and awarded the amazing unfaltering service from Debbie George.
