Breakfast with the Elks on Sunday includes special servers from the Alameda Civic Ballet student dancers. Alameda Civic Ballet is one of the many community organizations the Elks sponsor to enable children many experiences outside of school in the arts and sports. For nearly 20 years the Alameda Civic Ballet has produced The Nutcracker where student dancers perform alongside professionals.
Breakfast with the Elks is a monthly Lodge tradition where members put out an abundant spread for the community. Every second Sunday of each month we serve up an all-you-can-eat buffet of eggs scrambled and poached (Benedict, Florentine), bacon and sausage, waffles, and cooked-to-order omelets, plus juice, coffee, and tea served at your table all for just $15 for members, $20 for non-members and $6 for kids under 12. Kids 5 and under are free.
Add to that, no-host treats from our bar such as mimosas, gin fizzes, and more. Great way to meet Elks and other members of the community. Bussers and servers are usually various youth groups on the Island (Scouts, ballet, cheer, etc) so be sure to put some moolah in the tip jar and DON’T FORGET TO FEED THOSE LITTLE PURPLE PIGS at the table.
