Let’s Walk4Hearing Again!
Member and local Deaf-hard-of-hearing teacher for Alameda Unified School District Mary Grace Basco would like to invite all members to WALK 4 HEARING on May 30 in Alameda. Last year we walked with her AUSD team. This year we’re getting an Elks Team together. Who’s with us?

How to Show Your Support
Join our Lodge 1015 team or donate. We have set up a team and right now we have at least one person walking for the Lodge. You can join that team using the button below. Also, to sweeten the deal we already have $100 towards our goal from two anonymous donors. Can you help us reach our goal of $500? You can sign up to donate or sign up to walk! C’mon, walk with us for hearing, why don’t you?
First Lady/Loyal Knight Lynn Landry is going! If you want to walk as part of the Lodge’s group, send her an email at elks1015@gmail.com and click below to sign up!
Many of us are touched by hearing loss either directly or indirectly and building awareness through the Elks helps shows solidarity, but that’s not all. We can register as an affiliate and 40% of funds we raise as the Elks team would come back to us in hearing screenings and other ways that we can help spread awareness and help our community.
Grab a walking partner!! • Bring your dog!! • We can’t wait to walk with you!!
