Alameda Elks Lodge 1015, opened our doors to members, friends, neighbors, Veterans, and First Responders to celebrate the Fourth of July and Alameda’s beloved tradition of our Independence Day Parade! Elks passed out water to people lining up to march or ride in the parade, greeted friends, made new ones, and had a great time.
After the parade, Cowboy Ken fired up the grill for hotdogs along with chips and sodas for all. Thanks to our PERL Leah Fischer and ER Steve Giddens who drove in from Idaho with their two baby pups to help make this happen! Thanks to member, Rusty Blazenhoff for the photos.
