For our 35th consecutive year, the Alameda Elks traveled up to the California Veteran’s Home in Yountville, to donate personal items and cook a picnic lunch for the Veterans. Forty-two Alameda Elks got up early on a Saturday morning to drive up to Yountville to have a great day honoring our Veterans. Our Elks Antlers were out in force and were a big help. Dozens more Elks, back at home, donated many boxes of personal items that are badly needed and so appreciated by the Veterans.
As soon as we arrived, Elks just fan out in multiple directions:
