Last Friday night at the Alameda Elks, we had it all . . . great food, great Karaoke singing, and most important, a whole lot of fun. We all took turns, belting out classics like Okie from Muskogee, Country Roads, I’m Getting Married in the Morning and many, many more. Some voices were better and some were not but every single song ended with applause, laughter and fun.
Bartender Lee made some special drinks for charity.
The most important thing about the evening is that we raised a lot of money to benefit the Alameda Women’s Shelter. That’s what we’re proud to do at the Elks . . . have fun while helping our community.
Stay tuned and watch the Lodge Calendar because we plan on holding events like this every month at the Lodge.
