Every month, we celebrate the birthdays of our Elks family members. This month was no different. There was singing, raffles, prizes, fresh bread, stale jokes, meatloaf and peppermint ice cream. We had a great time on Saturday night, celebrating Exalted Ruler Shirley Bierman’s reign leading Alameda Elks Lodge #1015. The theme was a masquerade ball.
